How long does the treatment take?
The treatment takes 2-6 hours per session and a full treatment session is normally completed in three sessions. Sessions are spaced four weeks apart to allow for complete healing.
Will the pigment fade or change color?
This is a specialized ink used only for scalp micropigmentation, therefore there is no risk for the color turning blue or green. There will be a need for touch-up in about 3 years for most people.
Does it matter what color my hair is?
No, we have ink to match follicle color. This specialized ink comes in different blends and can be mixed by the micro pigmentation professional to customize the desired hair color.
How small is the needle?
Yes, the needles are 75% smaller than a standard tattoo needle. This smaller needle offers greater precision and control over delivery and placement of ink, providing a natural look and matching the size of a person’s natural hair follicle.
How do I care for my scalp after the procedure?
We provide post care protocols that should be followed for the first week and then after that we strongly recommend keeping your scalp protected with a high SPF sunscreen.
